Eddie Louise Smith Wilson Graveside services for Eddie Louise Smith Wilson, 86, were held Friday, December 21, 2007, in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton, with Rev. Donnie Berry and Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. She died December 18. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Elbert County and was the daughter of the late Ed Chapman and Lollie Mercier Smith. She was the widow of Robert Claude Wilson. She had retired from Royal Manufacturing Co. and Almar Manufacturing Co., and was member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. "Bobby" and Vivie Ann Wilson, Tignall; a granddaughter, Angie W. Thornton and her husband Mark, Tignall; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorene Collins, Kathleen Worley and Virginia Grimes, all of Elberton; and a brother, Harry Allen Smith, Elberton. Pallbearers included Mark Thornton, Nick Veal, Ray Sims, Jerome Wilson, Neal Wilson, and Chet Wilson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mallorysville Baptist Church Building Fund.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
