Frances Wheelis WOM group enjoys annual caroling, soup supper

An evening of Christmas caroling was enjoyed by the members of the Frances Wheelis Women on Mission of the First Baptist Church on Monday evening, December 17.

The group met at the church for the annual event and boarded the church bus for caroling about town.

They returned to the Mary Callaway Burton Fellowship Hall for piping hot soups, made by Dennis and Julia Palmer, hot cornbread and sandwiches and desserts brought by the group.

Chris Townsend offered the blessing before dinner.

Attending were David and Gail Hunter, Tom and Melanie Wells, Edward and Susan Pope, Bill and Teresa Bishop, Dennis and Julia Palmer, Rosemary Hopkins, Pug and Kay Nelms, and Chris, Tara, Garston and Henry Townsend.
