Gretchen Lamar honored at twin baby shower

Gretchen Lamar was guest of honor at a twin baby shower on Sunday afternoon, December 9, in the Family Life Center of Tignall Baptist Church.

Hostesses for the occasion were Carolyn Gammon, Pat Bobo, Lacey Fincher, Susie Weaver, Susie Futch and Pam Pullen.

Mrs. Lamar was presented a corsage of miniature white rosebuds tied with blue ribbon and accented with touches of booties and faces of little children..

A blue and yellow color scheme was used in decorating. The refreshment table was covered in a blue and white checked cloth and finished with a center white scrunched cloth. Centering this setting on a raised plateau was an arrangement of lilies and gypsophila in a base of blue boys overalls.

Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods that included cake squares decorated with blue booties, cheese straws, nuts, mints, and a vegetable platter. Yellow pineapple punch was served from another table.

Guests included ladies of the church, family and friends.
