Margie Burke (right), an organizer for the Wilkes County Relay for Life, too materials, information, and giveaways to the Washington Rotary Club when she spoke at its regular meeting on Thursday, January 31. She told members of many opportunities to get involved with the 2008 Relay through volunteering or fund-raising and encouraged them to join or organize a team for the event. The Relay is set for May 2-3, 2008. Rotary president Paula Stevens (left) was program host for the club.
