Pam McCarty was among the guest speakers at a young women's conference held at Joshua's Place in Jackson Saturday, January 26. She spoke on skin care. Other speakers were Miss UGA Liza Pitts who is from Elberton; and Miss Georgia Teen. .Pam and Ricky McCarty went to Jackson Sunday to attend services with members of his family at Joshua's Place Church. Joining them were Randy McCarty, Sandy and Marty Long, Angie and Tony Williamson, Mike Strickland and some of their families. After services they all went out and had lunch together. Their mother, Judy Strickland, was sick and unable to be with them. .Mr. and Mrs. Scott Blaine's visitors over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Don Roane. They visited Mrs. Evans Davis Sunday morning. .Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Mrs. John Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson Thursday afternoon. .Mr. and Mrs. Philip Huff of Athens visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Sunday afternoon. .Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance visited Sara Dees Sunday afternoon. She came home Wednesday afternoon and is feeling very well but will be undergoing therapy for sometime. .Pam and Ricky McCarty visited Cindy McCarty Sunday evening. She had a very bad accident and spent several weeks in a hospital in Augusta.
