High school, middle school set joint open house for February 11
Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and Washington- Wilkes Middle School have announced that a joint open house will be held on Monday, February 11, for parents and students of each school. From 3:30-6 p.m., parents may pick up their child's latest progress report of this semester and meet with teachers.
"It is the desire of both W-WCHS and W-WMS to enhance parent/ school communications," said Steve Echols, high school principal. "We are committed to monitoring student progress and providing opportunities for parents to be informed and to addressing concerns they may have."
Echols added that through preventive measures and parent/school collaboration, the students of W-WCHS and W-WMS can experience greater success. "So, please come out and support this event," he said. "Meet the educators involved in your child's life, and learn about wonderful things happening at W-WCHS and W-WMS."
