Samantha Harkins celebrates birthday with family, friends

Samantha Harkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Harkins, was six years old on January 12 and enjoyed several celebrations.

Samantha shared birthday cupcakes and Cheetos with her classmates on Friday, January 11.

She celebrated with her family on her birthday with a special lunch at Wendy's with her parents, brother, Nicklaus, and grandmother, Mrs. Betty Watts. She was also treated to a special birthday supper with her parents and brother, Nicklaus; uncle, aunt and cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Cox and Aubrey; and greatuncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Campbell, where everyone dined on grilled steaks, baked potatoes, salad, and ice cream cake.

A Pink Poodle party honored Samantha on Saturday, January 19, at the Washington-Wilkes Country Club. She and her friends enjoyed pizza, Cheetos, birthday cake, ice cream cakes, juice and drinks. They played Bingo for prizes and burst the piñata. Party souvenirs included pink poodle purses filled with treats for the girls and specialty goody bags for the boys.

Celebrating with Samantha, her parents and Nicklaus were Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Cox and Aubrey; Mrs. Todd Blackmon and Cassidy, Mrs. Rick Callaway and Alaina, Carson Maloof, Mr. and Mrs. Seth Cox, Hunter and Hailey, Emily Cox, Lydia Norman, Mrs. Tommy Bridges and Jessica, Mrs. Bill Hammond, Lola and Makayla, Mrs. Dusty Kay and Madison, Mrs. Mike Stein, Meghan, Bryce, Bethany and Katie, and Mrs. Scotty Ware and Stacey.
