Wilkes County girls and girls from area counties are invited to participate in the Miss Forestry Pageant to be held February 23 in Danielsville. Application deadline is February 11.

Girls ages 2-24 are eligible to enter the pageant. The six age categories are: Teeny, 2-3 years old; Tiny, 4-6 years old; Little, 7-9 years old; Junior, 10-12 years old; Teen, 13-16 years old; and Miss, 17-24 years old.

The pageant will be held at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Family Life Center located fivemiles north of Danielsville on Highway 29.

The Madison County Pilot Club sponsors the local Miss Forestry Pageant. Applications and more information may be obtained by calling the pageant director, Beth Holloway, at 706-795-3489

This pageant is a preliminary pageant to the 69th Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant to be held in Tifton in June.
