"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;" "Be not weary in well-doing." Isaiah 40:28-31, and Galatians 6:9-10. This is the scripture reading for our message Sunday at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Dr. Dupree was back after being ill last Sunday. (James Smith was our speaker last Sunday.) The title of the message was "Are You Weary In Well Doing?" Jack and Angie Strother placed flowers in the church, an arrangement of pink, white, and green fresh flowers. Mrs. Lois Poss kept the nursery for worship and Newton Gunter had children's church. The message was good. There was good attendance and the music was pretty. The children's message was "Spiritual Tools." If you do not have a church home, try Ebenezer. We have Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and preaching at 11:00. Try us. .I did not write the news last week because I was out of town Sunday and Monday. My daughter, Shane, in Winterville was ill and so was my grandson, Tanner. I went up to help out.
