We had good services at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. Rev. Martin began a series of messages on the Ten Commandments. The title of his message Sunday was "No other Gods before me" from Exodus 20:3. Karmen Moon sang a pretty special, "Holy Is the Lord." We are happy Rev. and Mrs. Martin have recovered from their illnesses. .On Sunday, February 17, there will be a Gideon speaker at many churches in this area. The speaker at Clifford's Grove will be Larry Ford of Hartwell. Members, please come and help support this wonderful organization. They give many Bibles and New Testaments not only in America, but many countries around the world. .Mr. and Mrs. Scott Blaine of Dahlonega spent the weekend at their home here and their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Don Roane. .Mrs. Evans Davis had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Scott Blaine Sunday. .Elizabeth Barber of Athens had lunch with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance, Saturday and spent the afternoon with them. ."Thinking will get us to the foot of the mountain; faith will get us to the top of the mountain."
