Mrs. Frank Story accompanied her daughter, Mrs. Olan Miller of Watkinsville, to LaGrange for a weekend visit with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Oliver and a second birthday party honoring Mrs. Story's greatgranddaughter, Belle Solomon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Solomon, at the Solomon home.

Fletcher Dunaway of Marianna, Fla., and Kenneth Dunaway of Greenwood, Fla., were in Washington over the weekend to attend the festivities surrounding the Battle of Kettle Creek Commemoration. They visited Sunday with Betty Slaton who took them on a rambling tour of many historic sights and other places of interest in the area.

Billy Hopkins and Rosemary Hopkins visited during the weekend with Dodd and Missy Worley, Collier and Ashton, in Lafayette. During the weekend they attended The Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl in Pickens County in which grandson, Collier, a fourth grader at Trion School, was a school team participant

Mr. and Mrs. Doug Tyler of Norcross and Russell Tyler of Milledgeville visited over the weekend with Mrs. Richard Tyler.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hopkins Jr. of Acworth visited during the weekend with their mothers, Mrs. Dennis Hopkins and Mrs. Martha S. Drinkard. Mrs. Hopkins remained for an extended stay with her mother.
