We had good services at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. Rev. Martin's message was on the Ten Commandments, from Exodus 20:7. It has been a long time since we've had enough small children to have a beginners class, but now we have one and it started Sunday with several happy kids. There are also plans for a young adult class. So if you are not in a church or Sunday School, we invite you to join us. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 o'clock. .Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer went with Rev. Andy Perryman to Martinez Monday evening to attend the State Evangelism Conference held at Abilene Baptist Church. We heard beautiful music and several good sermons and spent a time in the prayer room. We enjoyed it very much. A lot of people were there and I was surprised to see my cousin, David Hopkins, and his wife Gwen. .Pam McCarty spent the weekend with her sister, Gail Hammock, in Warwick to help Gail celebrate her birthday on Sunday, February 17. .Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Mrs. John Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson Thursday. .Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty, Mrs. Hilda McCarty, and Cheryle Holsclaw went to Augusta last Sunday to see the Celtic Women Concert. This group is from Ireland. Pam said it was a wonderful show. .I visited Iris Dyson a little while Saturday evening. .In the absence of their regular adult Sunday School teacher at Raytown Baptist Church Sunday, James Sherrer was invited to teach the class. He said they had a good attendance and he enjoyed being with them. .James and I enjoyed the homecooked meal at the Lions Club Sunday.
