In honor of the occasion Mrs. Pickens was presented a corsage of white sweetheart roses accented with a baby bracelet and diaper pins.

A lovely arrangement of light blue delphinium, white gerbera daisies, sweetheart roses and tulips in a crystal vase centered the dining table and the breakfast table held a bouquet of daffodils from Mrs. Pickens's aunt's yard.

Guests enjoyed cheese straws, fresh fruit, cake, spiced pecans, coffee and punch.

Mrs. Pickens was presented a Pak 'N' Play by her hostesses.

Fifty guests were invited. Special guests were the prospective grandmothers, Bobbie Ann Griffin of Washington and Denise Wheeler of Harlem.
