Miscellaneous drop-in held in honor of bride-elect Jessica Coxwell Feb. 23
Bride-elect Jessica Coxwell was feted at a miscellaneous drop-in on Saturday morning, February 23, given by Alice Lindsey, Debbie Barnett, Beth Bunch, Ashley Cox, Joan Geddings, Mary Donna Lunceford, Kathy Poss and Mable Tucker in the fellowship hall of the Washington Chapel.
Miss Coxwell, bride-elect of Herchell Evans of Dacula, chose black slacks and a beige sweater set accented in pink with pink accessories. She was presented a corsage of white sweetheart roses.
Upon arrival, guests registered at a table decorated with a spring arrangement that included daffodils and camellias.
A larger matching arrangement graced the refreshment table that was covered in white linens.
From the table guests enjoyed sausage casserole, grits casserole, sweet potato biscuits, cheese blitz squares topped with sour cream and strawberry preserves, fresh fruits, glazed orange muffins,coffee and orange juice.
The hostesses presented Miss Coxwell three five-piece place settings in her chosen stainless flatware.
Seventy-fiveguests were invited. Special guests included the brideelect's mother, Mrs. Dan Coxwell; her sister, Mrs. Jack Leard III; grandmother, Mrs. Lewie Coxwell of Warrenton; and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Danny Edwards and sister, Mrs. Michael Evans of Lexington.
