The Fitzpatrick Hotel was the scene of a bridesmaids' brunch honoring Jessica Coxwell on Saturday, March 1, given by aunts, Mrs. Rosemary Jackson of Bogart, Mrs. Betty Coxwell of Sandersville, Mrs. Joe Ballenger of Canon and Mrs. Dennis Coxwell of Warrenton.

Miss Coxwell was lovely in a capsleeved deep turquoise dress and matching accessories complemented by a corsage of white roses with pink accents and pink and brown ribbon, matching the colors of the wedding.

The dining room was beautifully decorated for the occasion by Mrs. Michael Wells of Washington as a gift to the bride-elect.

The register table, covered in white, was decorated with a rose in an ornate silver vase.

The dining table, covered in a mocha cloth, was overlaid in a leaf-designed embossed sheer beige cloth. Mocha napkins enhanced each setting. Placecards and chocolate mints wrapped in tulle and tied in pink marked each place. Centering the table atop a cream satin-draped pedestal was an ornate silver trumpet vase of deep-pink tipped pale pink roses, eleagnus, smilax and nandina foliage. Chairs were accented with gossamer that was knotted and draped in trailing streamers.

A delicious luncheon of homemade chicken salad with grapes and toasted pecans on a bed of baby field greens, fresh seasonal fruits, croissants, sunset lemon mousse cake and tea was served.

Guests were presented silver charms each signifying a connection to that person's life.

Miss Coxwell presented her bridesmaids and other guests gifts in appreciation of their support and friendship.

The hostesses presented her an engraved wedding cake knife and server.

Joining the bride-elect and hostesses were Miss Coxwell's mother, Mrs. Dan Coxwell; her sister and nieces, Mrs. Jack Leard III, Kaitlin and Kelsey; her grandmothers, Mrs. Grady Moon of Canon and Mrs. Lewie Coxwell of Warrenton; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Danny Edwards, and sister, Mrs. Michael Evans of Lexington; Amy Terrell of New York City and Hyun Cho of Snellville.
