Engaged couple April Smith and Jonathan Wheatley were entertained at a couple's Stock-the-Bar Shower on Saturday evening, March 15, given by Megan and Scott Kennedy at their home on Newtown Road.

Casual attire was the dress for the evening. The bride-elect chose a black fashion top, jeans and red snakeskin boots. She was presented a corsage of flowers around a miniature Crown Royal bottle.

A floral and strawberry topiary decorated the table from which guests enjoyed a buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres with margaritas.

The hosts presented the couple a set of monogrammed bar towels and a drink mixer.

Fifty guests were invited.
