Addison Renee Baston, daughter of Jim and Heather Baston of Washington, was baptized Sunday, March 9, during the morning worship service at the First United Methodi st Church in Washington. Rev. Gale Seibert officiated.

Addison wore a white christ ening gown adorned with tiny flower embroidery and trimmed with lace. For the occasion Addison wore a special locket pinned inside her gown that belonged to her greatgrandmother.

After the Sunday morning service, Addison's parents entertained family and friends at a luncheon in the fellowship hall of the church. Guests enjoyed ham, green beans, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, mixed fruit, rolls, Red Velvet cake, and chocolate cake.

Bows of pink tulle marked the high chair for the guest of honor. Addison's place setting consisted of Baston family heirlooms of a silver cup, an ivory teething ring, a monogrammed napkin and a solid silver baby fork and spoon set.

The buffet was decorated with ivy and an arrangement of cream and pink-tipped roses in a silver urn and the beverage table held a baby block and princess bank surrounded by ivy and an arrangement of gerber and assorted spring daisies. A single gerber daisy decorated the dessert table. Also on the dessert table were gifts for the occasion, most notably, a pink Bible from Addison's parents with her name embossed on the cover.
