If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider joining A.H. Stephens State Park's volunteer workday program

On Saturday, April 5, and Saturday, April 12, the park will host the workday programs beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m.

Persons interested and who plan to attend should call the park officeat 706-456-2602 to register or to get more information. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m.

Participants should bring their own safety gear (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.) Work projects include raking, removing limbs, operating a chipper, operating a chainsaw and other equipment, and using hand tools.
