Cary Callaway, Lindsey Hitchcock honored at drop-in bridal shower

Lindsey Hitchcock and Cary Callaway were honored at a drop-in miscellaneous bridal shower Sunday afternoon, March 30, at the Coram House of the First Baptist Church in Lavonia.

Hostesses included Freda Burton, Wanda Davis, Jill Duncan, Lydia Ethridge, Tammy Foster, Rhonda Grizzle, Susan Knighton, Jimmie Lowery, Wanda Milford, Robyn Vaughn and Julie Walters, all of Lavonia.

Miss Hitchcock chose for the occasion a red sweater, white top and black slacks.

A table in the entry featured a framed shower invitation.

White Army-Navy cloths were used to cover the tables beautifully decorated with a profusion of pinkcast white tulips.

A delicious assortment of light hors d'oeuvres was served.

The hostesses presented the brideelect a dinner plate, cup and saucer in her formal china.

One hundred guests were invited. Special guests included the brideelect's mother, Melanie Hitchcock of Lavonia, and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Penny Callaway of Washington.
