Daniel Ford Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Walker, celebrated his eighth birthday on March 24. Ford was treated on several occasions.

On Friday, March 28, Ford was honored with a cookout at his home in Danburg. Everyone enjoyed hamburgers, chips and dip and strawberry shortcake. Joining Ford and his parents were his brothers, Jackson and Wilkes; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Newsome, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Walker, and Mrs. Rose Ware; Mr. and Mrs. Shane Moore, Lindsey and Walker; Mr. and Mrs. Billy Caddell and Dixon; Mr. and Mrs. Casey Jackson, Madeline and Ella; and Mike Newsome.

Ford was joined by his cousin, Walker Moore, and friends, Jesse Cushman and Travis Pate, on Saturday, March 29, for a sleepover. The boys spent their time together riding bikes and playing football.

Ford also celebrated with his second grade class at Briarwood Academy. The children enjoyed Domino's pizza, chips and brownies.
