April bride-elect Lindsey Hitchcock was entertained at a miscellaneous bridal shower Saturday, March 29, hosted by Susan Nunn, India Harris, Jayne Callaway, Vonice Wells and Barbara Roberts at the Roberts home on Poplar Drive.

Miss Hitchcock, whose marriage to Cary Callaway will be April 19, was presented a corsage of sweetheart roses to complement her green and brown floral top worn over brown capris.

The dining table was covered with a brown cloth and pink overlay. Centering the table was a spring bouquet of dogwood, almond bush, azaleas, iris, spirea, asparagus fern and other greenery.

Guests enjoyed a brunch fare of sausage-egg casserole, grits, cinnamon rolls, fruit and dip, toasted pecans, pear and apple juice and coffee.

The hostesses presented Miss Hitchcock a five-piece place setting in her informal flatware.

Fifty guests were invited. Special guests included the prospective bridegroom's mother, Penny Callaway, and sister-in-law, Sheila Callaway.
