Mimi Albea entertained at bridal shower on March 8

Mimi Albea of Sandersville, bride-elect of Chris Rogers of Augusta, was entertained at a miscellaneous bridal shower Saturday, March 8, at the Danburg Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Hostesses for the occasion were the ladies of the church.

Miss Albea was presented a corsage of white daisies.

As guests arrived, they signed the register at a table decorated with a white cloth with a crystal vase of beautiful Rubrum lilies, daisies and snapdragons.

The refreshment table, covered in white with a pink organza overlay, was centered with a large crystal vase of assorted Rubrum lilies, green spider chrysanthemums, apple blossom snapdragons, and Stargazer lilies.

Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods which included pimento cheese sandwiches, cake squares, cheese straws, assorted fruit with dip, pecan sandies, strawberry cream cheese ball, toasted pecans, taco dips and punch.

Miss Albea's lovely gifts were displayed on tables covered with white cloths with pink organza overlays.

Fifty-five guests were invited. Among the guests attending were the bride-elect's mother, Lucille Albea, and sister, Yvonne Albea, both of Washington; out-of-town guests, bridesmaid Michelle Evans, and her mother, Gayle Prince, both of Sandersville.
