'Bring Mama Day' set for 'I Do, I Do' on Mothers Day

Since May 11 is Mother's Day, the Washington Little Theater Company is paying special tribute to mothers at its Sunday matinee of "I Do! I Do!"

That is "Bring Your Mama Day" and if you bring your Mom she gets in free! Of course, you have to pay the regular price of $10 for yourself (or use your membership card) and Mom gets in free.

Tom and Gail Duggan star in the musical comedy which is based on the play, "The Four Poster." Described as a play about marriage, "I Do! I Do!" will take the audience through about 50 years of marriage beginning in the Victorian age.

Hilarious comedy, lilting songs and superb acting make for an entertaining evening.

The play opens on Thursday, May 8, at 8:00 p.m. at the Bolton Lunceford Playhouse on North Alexander Avenue and runs Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

"We look forward to seeing many moms at the Sunday matinee," said Jo Randall, director.

The reservations line is open and reservations may be made by calling 706-678-9582.
