Key Club tells Kiwanis of plans
Jennifer Atkinson, W-WCHS Key Club faculty advisor (center), and Megan Churning, Kiwanis Division 6 Key Club Lieutenant Governor (right), were the guest speakers at the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, May 20. Both Atkinson and Churning discussed current and planned Key Club activities at W-WCHS and presented a PowerPoint program highlighting the significantevents during the past year. It was reported that the Key Club membership doubled in the past year to 30 students with a goal of 45 students next year. Currently statewide there are about 6,000 high school students participating in local Key Clubs. Sherry Hudson, the club's Sponsored Youth chairman, (left) was program host for the day. |
