Have you ever been chased by an armadillo? I have, but the armadillo didn't know he was chasing me. Rev. Dale Fincher came to my back door last Thursday night with some church material to give me and asked if I knew I had an armadillo in my back yard. I told him I wanted to see that armadillo because I had never seen a live one. It was dark but he was trying to show me where he was. He went toward a tree where I have a flower bed and the armadillo went around the tree and started toward me with a red fox chasing him. Dale yelled, "There he is coming toward you!" He crossed right in front of me with the fox chasing him. They say an armadillo can jump 10 feet. I don't know about the armadillo, but I jumped about 10 feet and screaming at the same time. Dale says he wants to trap these armadillos and make some shoes for his wife Kay out of them. ƒThe town of Tignall is really going to miss the Citgo Station.
