Members of the New Salem Baptist Church in the Tyrone community will celebrate the church's 136th anniversary May 25 and June 1.

Pastor Reginald Hunter of New Springhill Baptist Church in Philomath, will bring the message on Sunday, May 25; and Pastor Roy Thomas of Waggoner Grove Baptist Church, Colbert, will bring the message on Sunday, June 1.

The services will begin at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served prior to the service.

Pastor Reynolds of New Salem extends an invitation to everyone to attend all services.

Vacation Bible School will be held at the church June 9-13 at 7:30 p.m. There will be classes for all ages, using the theme "God's Big Back Yard."
