Lauren Bridges was entertained at a baby shower on Sunday, May 4, at Washington Chapel given by Angie Bentley, Tricia Bridges, Beth Bunch, Audrea Ezzell, Audra Chapman, Stephanie Chapman, Donna Hardy, Kathy Poss, Brett Walker and Midge Walker of Washington-Wilkes, Jen Denard of Naples, Fla., Jennifer Denard of Hartwell, and Julie Fanning of Duluth.

Mrs. Bridges was presented a corsage of ivory sweetheart roses tied with a mint green ribbon and accented with a baby rattle.

The refreshment table, covered in white with a mint green overlay, featured a wicker baby carriage which held an arrangement of assorted rubrum lilies, green spider chrysanthemums, apple blossom snapdragons, and yellow daisies. Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods which included chicken salad timbales, cake squares, cheese straws, assorted fruit with dip, cheese ring with strawberry preserves, pecan sandies, key lime cheese ball, toasted pecans, mints and punch.

Mrs. Bridges was presented a baby swing that was displayed with the other variety of baby gifts.

Seventy-fiveguests were invited. Special guests included the guest of honor's mother, Judy Denard, and grandmothers, Gladys Hoffman and Elizabeth A. Denard, all of Washington.
