Terah Noelle Young to marry Joshua Dexter Cannon Sept. 6

Terah Noelle Young Joshua Dexter Cannon Terah Noelle Young Joshua Dexter Cannon Mr. and Mrs. Crayton Young of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Terah Noelle, to Specialist Joshua Dexter Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cannon of Keystone Heights, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Aluara Wilkins of Monroe, Calif., and the late E.B. Wilkins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young of Washington.

She is a 2003 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2007 graduate of Columbus State University in Columbus where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Miss Young is employed by the Muscogee County Board of Education.

Specialist Cannon is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Hartley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bryan of Melrose, Fla.

He is a 2003 graduate of Keystone Heights, Fla., High School and serves in the United States Army 3rd Infantry Division as a Black Hawk crew chief stationed at Hunter Air Field in Savannah. Specialist Cannon flies with Med-Evac Unit currently deployed to Taji, Iraq.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 6, at the First Baptist Church in Washington.
