Misty Dawn Flynn Stephen Grier Godwin Ronald "Smokey" Flynn of Ila and Lois Flynn of Winterville announce the engagement of their daughter, Misty Dawn, of Winterville, to Stephen Grier Godwin of Washington, son of William Godwin, also of Washington, and Yvonne Delay of Woodstock.

Miss Flynn is a 1998 graduate of Oglethorpe County High School in Lexington and a 2006 graduate of Gwinnett Technical College . She is currently working as a paramedic for Wilkes County EMS.

Mr. Godwin is a 2007 graduate of Augusta Technical College and is also working as a paramedic for Wilkes County EMS.

The wedding is planned for Sunday, October 5, at The Taylor Grady House in Athens.
