Monique Booker attends McDonald's world convention
MONIQUE BOOKER Monique Booker, of Washington, was selected by McDonald's Corporation to represent the Atlanta region restaurants at its 2008 World Wide Convention held recently in Orlando, Florida. She was one of only 13 employees selected from 932 restaurants and thousands of crew members from across the region.
Booker began her career with the Washington McDonald's in 1996 the same week the Washington location opened. "Her consistent hard work and dedication have certainly earned her this wonderful recognition," restaurant owner David Cravens said.
While in Orlando, Booker enjoyed meeting crew members from around the world, preparing new products which might appear on future restaurant menus, and visiting the many vendors who supply McDonald's worldwide. She also enjoyed an evening at Universal Studios Theme Park, which was reserved just for convention attendees, and the final night's concert performed by Rod Stewart.
