Phillips Mill Baptist Church was happy to have Dr. Norman Waldrip of Greensboro, a former moderator of the Georgia Baptist Association, to fillin for Pastor Robert Rayner for both services Sunday, June 8. ƒThe beautiful flowers placed at the altar Sunday at Phillips Mill Baptist Church were in memory of Dorothy Rayner of Elmo and Hazel Rayner. ƒThis Sunday, June 15, will be Father's Day. We would like to wish all fathers a happy Father's Day weekend. There will be no evening worship service at Phillips Mill. ƒThings will come alive bright and early Monday morning, June 16, with Vacation Bible School starting at Phillips Mill and going through Friday. ƒMary Hawes visited her uncle and aunt, Dan and Mildred McAvoy, Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. McAvoy will be married 65 years Thursday, June 19. Best wishes to them. They have been very faithful to share their news over the years in this column. Thanks ƒRemember. God loves you.
