Jessica Eason was feted at a bridesmaids luncheon Friday, June 6, at The Rider House on Court Street. Hostesses for the occasion were Mary Newsome, India Harris, Vonice Wells and Alicia DeWeese.

Miss Eason was lovely in a lime green summer dress.

The house was beautifully decorated. Round tables in the living room were covered with long green cloths and enhanced with sheer leaf motif overlays. Fish bowls held hydrangeas, lisianthus and stock in shades of purple and lime green. Each place featured a mirrored mat and clear plates were accented with delicate designs. Lime green napkins were tied with lime and purple ribbon. Also at each place was a bridesmaid doll complete with a lace bodice of white chocolate and green skirt finished with a lavender bow.

In the dining room the long table was covered in green and topped with an heirloom antique crocheted cloth. Flowers on the table and the sideboard nearby matched those used on the tables for seating.

Guests enjoyed a luncheon of fresh kiwi, strawberries, watermel- on, pineapple and blueberries from a lead crystal bowl, chafingdishes of grilled marinated chicken and twice baked potato casserole, fresh whole green beans, and strawberry, walnut and mandarin orange salad with vinaigrette dressing. The two-tiered charm cake was served for dessert.

Following the luncheon course, the bride-elect presented her attendants initialed damask brown and white bags that included earrings for the wedding, silver sandals and other accessories.

Joining the bride-elect and hostesses were the bride-elect's mother, Teresa Eason of Washington; sisters, Paige Eason of Macon and Leigh Oxendine of Augusta; grandmother, Mary Lee Edenfieldof Baxley; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Maureen Northenor of Warner Robins; grandmothers, Betty Northenor, also of Warner Robins, and Catherine Nettles of Centerville; aunt, Annette Tyson of Kathleen; Rebecca DeWeese of Athens; Amy Kenney, Sarah MacConnell, Tipper Patrick and Lee Ann Watson of Macon; and Carrie Cameron of Greensboro, N.C.
