Kiersten D. Brown graduates from Grace Christian K-5
Kiersten Deleah Brown, daughter of Travis and Tykier Brown of Powder Springs, graduated from the Grace Baptist Christian School K-5 program on Friday, May 16, in Powder Springs.
Kiersten graduated with the highest grade point average in her graduating class. Her course load included Bible, handwriting, math, phonics, reading, social studies and science. She also scored in the 99th percentile on her Stanford Achievement Tests.
Students and family members were entertained with a kindergarten power point presentation of the graduating class and a reception afterwards.
Kiersten was joined at graduation by her parents, her brother, Korbin; maternal grandparents, Charles and Olivia Jackson of Washington; paternal grandparents, Alphonso and Lucille Brown of Atlanta; uncle, Alphonso Brown III; and aunt, Ruth Travis; cousins, Desmond Jackson of Washington, Alden, Haley, and Hunter Brown, and great-aunt, Zenobia Brown of Atlanta.
Grace Baptist Christian School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission for their K5-12th grade program. The school uses the A beka curriculum to teach the subject areas.
