The descendants of Rev. J.C. Bell and Ellen Huff Bell met at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday for their annual family reunion.

Many expressed their feelings for being able to come back to where the Bell family started many years ago. After the meal, some gathered at the private Bell cemetery near the church to pay respect to the deceased.

James Bell of Gallatin, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Reese Bell of Grovetown; Mr. and Mrs. John Carraway, Orlando, Fla.; Rev. and Mrs. Clarence Lance of Ringgold; Mr. and Mrs. Lonny Bell of Eastover, S.C.; Mrs. Lucy McCorkle, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mc- Corkle and Sammy McCorkle, all of Thomson; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wheeler of Alma; Boyce Lance of White; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ansley of Thomson; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lance, Griffin; Rev. and Mrs. John Lance, Crawfordville; Guy Lance, Lexington; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foxworth, Perry; Elizabeth Barber and Chris Conway, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance, Jamie Atkinson, Mrs. Sara Dees, Shannon Turner, Ambria Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer.
