Pete Michenfelder, an account executive for WJBF NewsChannel 6 in Augusta, spoke to the Washington Rotary Club at its regular Thursday meeting last week and told members how the station's on-air news has grown from just about an hour a day to well over three hours a day. He also explained what it means to be a good news consumer, and briefly touched on television ratings for the station. Jim Burton was program host but in his absence, Michenfelder was introduced by Sparky Newsome (right).
