Chamber After Hours set for Thursday, July 31
Business owners and anyone interested in doing business locally are invited to the next Chamber After Hours drop-in event next week.
The Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce is planning its Chamber After Hours for next Thursday evening, July 31. The drop-in event is planned from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chamber office on The Square in Washington.
"Our After Hours isn't just for members," said Chamber of Commerce Director Ashley Barnett. "It's a great time for prospective Chamber members to network with other businesses, meet new people, and see what the Chamber of Commerce is all about, and what we can do to help your business."
Barnett said that the Chamber will be holding the events every quarter at different businesses. "We are very excited to be having our Chamber After-Hours, and we will continue have them quarterly and different Chamber member businesses will be able to host the event."
The event is open to members and prospective members. "If you are interested in being a part of the business community in Wilkes County, you need to join the Chamber of Commerce," she said. "We invite you to come out and meet with our board of directors and chamber members and see the benefits of joining. We would love to have you!"
