Springfield Baptist sets revival services for July 29-30 at 7

DR. MAURICE WATSON DR. MAURICE WATSON Colin Master 101 Augusta, Office: Toll Springfield Baptist Church, Washington, will have a two-night revival July 29-30, at 7 p.m.

The guest speaker for the two nights will be Dr. Maurice Watson from Beulahland Bible Church, Macon and Warner Robins.

Dr. Watson was ordained to the gospel ministry at the age of 18. His first pastorate was at St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock where he served for seven years. During his 15 1/2 years as pastor of the Salem Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, the church membership grew from 1,200 to more than 3,500 and the ministry was able to move into a new 42,000-square foot, multimillion dollar facility in 2000.

He became senior pastor of the Beulahland Bible Church in April 2004. Pastor Watson is motivated by his love for people, his love for preaching, and his belief that no one is beyond God's reach.

The public is invited to attend these services on July 29 and 30.
