Ed and Roberta George were hosts for a cookout and fellowship on Thursday, June 26, at their home on Sherwood Drive honoring the Belle Williams Volunteer Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church and guests.

The Georges grilled hamburgers and hot dogs enjoyed with all the trimmings. The buffet was enhanced with other favorites brought by members.

Class members and spouses attending were Mary Ann Bentley, Mary Burt, June and Alvin Chafin, Joan and Randy Clayton, Margaret Connor, Lila Edwards, Evelyn George, Ruth Holes, Mary and Louie Gene Hubbard, Joyce and Ed Leary, Nancy and Kerry McAvoy, Edythe McCall, Julie and Dennis Palmer, Jerri Ann and Doug Stewart, Ann Tanner, Betty Thornton and Patsy Winn.
