Linda Stevens has been selected as the first recipient of cancer relief funds distributed by the T.J. & Friends Foundation, Inc., a new organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in a seven-county area. Mrs. Stevens was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. She and her husband, Gene, have been long-time citizens and active church members in Wilkes County.
