Seven members of the Lunch and Learn met Wednesday, July 23, at Rayle City Hall.
The opening prayer was given by Mildred Sisson. Peggy Echols presented the treasurer's report. A business session was held, and reminiscing.
Everyone enjoyed making scissors holders out of potholders, and decorated them with flowers, spools, safety pins, etc.
A delicious home cooked covered dish meal was enjoyed by everyone after Diane Compton gave the blessing and prayer.
Baked ham, chicken strips, chicken salad, peas, potato salad, cabbage casserole, congealed fruit salad, sliced tomatoes, banana bread, lemon pound cake, wedding cookies, apple cobbler, and other special dishes were brought by the members.
Present were Peggy Echols, Diane Compton, Ruth Flynt, Mildred Sisson, Mablean Sherrer, Sudie Kennedy and Bonnie Boatwright. Becky Manley was a special guest for lunch.
