Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends
July 28 -- Dale Spence spent the night with his wife, Susan Spence.
Mrs. Nell Walls went to the hospital to see her husband with her daughter Becki.
Cheryl and Shulur Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell. They also took Mrs. Bagwell to Elberton to eat lunch at Richards and supper in Bowman.
Rev. Dale Fincher presented singing and devotional for the residents.
July 29 -- Jane Hill visited Mrs. Lois South.
Shirley Beard went to see her husband, Jim Beard, with Rachel Beard.
Sue Davis and Lois Poss led exercise classes for the residents.
Mrs. Pete Strother spent the day with Inez, Gene, and Madison Hall. Sandra Pope visited Mrs. Strother.
Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby went to the bus station and to her house.
Jon, Noelle and Findlay Griggs visited Mrs. Sara Curtis.
Gail Woods and Jada Mercier visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby.
July 30 -- Shirley Beard went to see her husband, Jim Beard, with Rachel Beard.
Mrs. Lois Flynt accompanied Elaine and Leonard Perry to have lunch with Doris Rhodes.
Ida C. Britton visited Mrs. Gunby. Mrs. Britton is from Wichita, Kansas.
Peyton Gill came to visit the people at Harper's.
Libby Winkle and Faye Bufford went to the Church of God for Pastor Al's wife's birthday party. A lot of her family and friends were there. Cake, ice cream, sandwiches of all kinds, sodas and tea were served.
July 31 -- The Church of God and Church In Christ presented a time of sharing, singing and prayers for the residents.

Susan Spence visits Dale Spence every day.
Mrs. Lois Flynt went on an outing with her granddaughter, Laura Cleveland.
We want to welcome Mrs. Helen Jackson to Harper's and hope she will enjoy being a part of our family here. She is from Lincolnton.
Sharon Williamson visited Mrs. Bessie Skipper.
Albert and Eudora Huyck presented piano music, singing and prayer for the residents. We enjoyed the piano music, singing and the wonderful devotional given by Rev. Huyck.

I would like to thank Mrs. Pearl Chapman for all the cucumbers she has been giving us. They are fresh from her garden and they are delicious.

Faye Bufford went to the Church of the Lord Jesus with Marlena Perkins, Tracy Graves, and Khalilah Grives. It was Friday night, Deliverance Night. Marlena is the one who takes me to church and brings me back home. If it were not for her I would not have a way.

Ed Cawley took Melvin Cawley to the James-Cawley family reunion in Harlem.

Mrs. Gunby went to the Sims family reunion banquet. Clara Sutton carried her to the banquet.
August 3 -- Glen, Caroline, and Steven Jump took Mrs. Eva Reed to church.
Mrs. Gunby's Godson, Scottie Ferrell, visited with her and the residents. He also helped the residents that needed help all day. He played one of my favorite songs on the piano for me. It was "Lean On Me."
Faye Bufford went to the Church of the Lord Jesus with Marlena Perkins, Tracy Graves, and LeLe Graves.
Mrs. Pete Strother went to church with Teresa and Russell Burdette and enjoyed lunch there.
Nanci Faulk visited Miss Carrie Norman.
Penny Hanison and Allison Rippy and Savannah Louis visited Dale Spence.
Laura and Jasmine Cleveland visited Mrs. Lois Flynt.
Mrs. Viola Epps' daughter Betty visited her today. She comes to see her every Wednesday.
