K.J. Allen, new owner of WLOV Radio in Washington, told members of the Washington Rotary Club about the station's new format and programming at their regular Thursday lunch meeting on July 31. He said the station will play a wide variety of classic hits throughout each day and will also feature local news broadcasts. There are also plans, he said, to boost the station's power and extend its range into neighboring counties. Rotarian Julie Irby, a WLOV employee, was program chairman for the day.
