'Amazing Grace?' find out why at First Methodist's book study
The First United Methodist Church, Washington, will present an adult study on the book "What's So Amazing About Grace?" beginning August 13.
The study will be led by Gale and Rich Seibert on Wednesday evenings in the parsonage at 104 West Liberty Street. A covered dish supper will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the book discussion at 7 p.m. The cost for the book and study guide is $19.00.
For more information and to order the book in time for the first class, interested persons should call the church office at 706-678-7116.
"Have you wondered what gives Christianity uniqueness?," says Rev. Gale Seibert. "C.S. Lewis, a famous Christian author, said grace is what makes Christianity unique. We use the word grace a lot, but what is it really?"
Anyone interested in finding out more about grace is invited to attend the study.
