Where do we go when we die? Where do we go when we die? You will actually answer that question for yourself. Have you truly, sincerely repented and accepted Jesus into your heart? Also, we judge ourselves by the deeds done in this body. Where you go after death is your choice. If you go the wrong way then you can't blame someone else. Amen. There is so much confusion because so many try to reason out things of God with human logic and so many times it just can't be done. I say this and some have to think about it a while, "So many times God's heavenly plans make no earthly sense." The things of God are spiritual and so many times folks are trying to reason them out with carnality, which is an enemy to God's spiritual promises, plans, and ways. There is so much carnal wisdom in the churches and even behind the pulpit. Carnal wisdom is man's secular wisdom. Some will say, "Now, let me tell you all that you have been miss-led to believe all these years by these old piney woods preachers and these old gray-haired grannies. Listen to me because I have figured it all out." Then they lead you on a wild goose chase. First off, let me tell you that in Genesis 2:7 it says, "God breathed into man the breath of life and he became a living soul." Okay. First he molded man from the dust of the earth like molding a figurine from modeling clay and then he breathed into him life. But then as he had created the heavens and the earth, He spoke so much into existence. He created a living soul, so the breath of life is not the soul. The soul and spirit are separate from the breath of life. The plastic casing that houses a battery is not the power. The acid and the water in the battery are not the power. The cells are not the power. The power is that invisible force. So the soul is that invisible spiritual force, like an unseen dynamo of power. So when we die that soul goes either to heaven or hell. It doesn't sleep in the grave. The body goes back to dust and is referred to as sleeping in the grave. The soul doesn't go to some relay station and wait the resurrection. The rapture will take place at the second coming of Jesus and He will come back to receive His own. The dead in Christ will arise because a spiritual quickening power will transpire and that dust will be reactivated and come together with the soul in a glorified state and in a perfect state; no matter how they died or the physical condition they died in and the lost the same way. The comes the judgment. Saints and sinners alike will be judged, but with a different judgment. When a sinner dies they go to hell and wait the final judgment. It's just like if you commit a crime then you go to jail to wait your trial and your judgment. They will be judged according to their sins and crimes because there are degrees of punishment. That judgment is the great white throne judgment. The Christians will be judged but it will be like an academy awards ceremony and they will receive rewards according to their works. This judgment is called the Judgment Seat of Christ. So, there you go. Can you say amen? |
