Shannon Marie Todd Jonathan Lee McDonald Melvin and Velda Bolton of Rayle announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Marie Todd, to Jonathan Lee McDonald, son of Barbara McDonald and the late Walter Hugh McDonald of Waycross.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of Larry Todd of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Adams and the late Joe Adams of Tignall and Sarah Todd and the late Noel Todd of Thomson.

She is a 1998 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is currently attending Athens Technical College in Athens. Miss Todd resides in Winterville where she works as a private duty nurse.

Mr. McDonald is the grandson of Maysie Craven Lee and the late Adam Lee of Hoboken and the late Joe and Elvera McDonald of Nahunta.

He is a l997 graduate of Brantley County High School and attended South Georgia Technical College in Americus specializing in industrial electrical work. Mr. McDonald resides in Waycross and is employed as an industrial electrician by FKI Logistex of St. Louis, Mo.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Lighthouse Beach on Tybee Island.
