Miss Winfrey, whose marriage to Ryan Reese of Evans will be an event of October 4, was presented a corsage of white rosebuds to complement her brown and white linen dress.

Guests greeted the bride-elect and were invited into the dining room for refreshments that included ham biscuits, cheese straws, sausage balls, pecan tarts, brownies, Martha Washington balls, and Mrs. Johnson's "My Punch." The table was overlaid with a white heirloom cutwork cloth and centered with a vintage Fosteria crystal vase of Rubrum lilies.
The hostesses presented the brideelect four glasses in her Lady Anne informal crystal.
Miss Winfrey thanked her hostesses with gifts of monogrammed domed crystal cheese keepers.
A large number of family and friends attended. Special out-oftown guests included the brideelect's great-aunt, Kathlyn Barksdale of Conyers; grandmother, Linda Mitchell of Crawfordville; aunt, Heather Mitchell of St. Simons; and the prospective bridegroom's grandmother, Debbie Reese of Grovetown.
