lLloyd and Bobbie Sue Johnson were in Burlington, N.C., several days where he was a judge in the Fish and Reptile Division and led seminars at the North Carolina Taxidermists Association gathering. After the conference, the Johnsons enjoyed several days at Myrtle Beach, S.C., and a visit with cousins, Mike and Betty Calhoun Hardin, in Loris, S.C. lSparky and Mary Newsome were joined by their family, Justin and Lizzie Holmes and Molly Newsome of Athens, for a weekend visit in Doraville with Mrs. Newsome's mother, Faye Maloney. While there they enjoyed a joint birthday celebration honoring Mrs. Maloney and her son, Floy Jumper of Buford. Other guests were his wife, Barbara Jumper, and daughter, Amy Jones of Atlanta. All enjoyed dinner at Maggiano's. lEdward and Susan Pope were in Maryville, Tenn., over the weekend to visit Craig and Jenny Thomas and be present for the birth of their granddaughter, Eliana Ruth on Thursday. They also were guests of Dave and Erla Thomas in Maryville and visited the John Gentry family in Athens on the way home Sunday.

Luncheon guests last Tuesday of Betty Reese were her daughter, Cindy Bitting of Augusta, and grandchildren en route to college, Neil Bitting to the University of Georgia in Athens and Libby Bitting to Emory University in Decatur. Also a luncheon guest was Libby's friend, Mario DeRose of Milan, Italy. lTom and Jane Rousey and son, Cliff, of Liberty, N.C., were weekend guests of his parents, Julius and Irene Rousey, and visited his brother, Bill Rousey.
