The early rains from Tropical Storm Fay may have contributed to this 3-car head-on crash on Highway 78 Friday afternoon. Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Paul Waller said that the Buick SUV (center) crossed the double yellow line and struck another car head-on, then a third vehicle hit the rear of the second car. The SUV driver was cited for failure to maintain a lane. Although two were transported to Willis Memorial Hospital, there were no serious injuries.
