J.W. and Bonnie Boatwright enjoyed having Esper Lee visit them Thursday morning. Barry Echols visited J.W. Saturday afternoon. ƒBonnie Boatwright enjoyed having lunch Tuesday at Longhorn's in Athens with her two sisters, Martha Jones of Bogart and Frankie Jones of Athens, and her brother, James Smith of Stephens. This was to celebrate Frankie's birthday which was August 7. Frankie was 77 and the waitresses gave her a special dessert. ƒTroy and Shirley Chafin's visitors for supper Sunday evening were Ronnie and Racquel, Terri and Domingo, Willard, Diana and Dallas. Haley was in Crawford visiting with her friend Audrey. ƒDebra (Bobby) Armour attended a meeting at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home in Crawford and Frances Fendley accompanied her to visit Melvie Esco. ƒPeggy Echols visited her aunt, Melvie Esco, at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home Sunday. She also visited in Stephens with her sister, Sybil Hayes, who is going to have knee surgery this week. ƒTracy and Denise Armour, Justin, Ethan and Jackson, Audra Chapman, Taylor Echols and Dylan Armour attended the Wheatley family reunion Sunday at the Metasville Community Center. ƒRonnie Chafin, his friend Racquel, Haley Hill Chafin, Tangie Chafin, and Caleb spent three days at Apple Mountain in Clarkesville. ƒClyde and Sandy Whittington enjoyed having their grandsons spend a night with them. Bryce spent Friday night; Zachery, Saturday night; and Kyle, Sunday night. ƒLouise Smith and Lucile Edmonds of Anderson, S.C., spent Wednesday with their sister, Doris Walker. They enjoyed browsing and shopping in the little shops in Washington and had lunch at the Talk of the Town Restaurant. ƒGeorge and Mozelle Casey enjoyed spending Sunday afternoon with Frances Fendley. ƒMany family members and friends attended the birthday party for Hunter Armour Saturday at the home of Lyn and Debra Aramour. Hunter was nine years old and they enjoyed a swimming party. ƒMason Armour celebrated his fourth birthday Saturday at a pool party at the home of his grandparents, Lyn and Debra Armour.
