We had fun. ƒMrs. Mary Gleaton's son from Chicago visited her. Her daughter Barbara visits her every day.

August 20 - The Washington Church of God and Church of God in Christ presented a time of sharing, singing and prayer for the residents. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby. Mrs. Gunby visited her house today. ƒPeyton Gill visited residents today. ƒMrs. Nell Walls spent the night with her daughter Becki. ƒSandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother. ƒDarinda Holliday went shopping.

August 21 - Jim and Linda Griggs took Mrs. Sara Curtis out to lunch. ƒJohn Webster visited Mayo Dodson. Dr. Kirk Dodson visited Mr. Dodson. ƒMartin Echols visited residents. ƒMrs. Nancy C. Gunby visited on Lexington Avenue. ƒMrs. Lillie Crawford visited the residents. ƒAlina Kuzina visited residents and gave manicures.

August 22 - Shirley Beard left Harper's and went to live with her sister, Joyce Arp. She will be truly missed. We all love her very much and she will not be forgotten. ƒBarry and Ann Rogers visited Jake Maddox. ƒInez Hall visits Mrs. Pete Strother every day. ƒBilly and Sandra Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell. ƒJune Hill visited Mrs. Lois South. ƒJake Maddox went to the VA Hospital Clinic appointment, then to Barnwell, S.C., to see his sister, Jane Gable. He had lunch at Sconyers barbecue with Barry and Ann Rogers. ƒTrey, Jade, Troy, and Shelby Kennedy visited Mrs. Pete Strother.

August 24 - Doris and Sanders Rhodes and Rose and Olin Newby came by for Mrs. Lois Flynt and they visited Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Perry at Jasper. Their son Michael is on his R&R visit with his wife and Olivia. He will be going back to Iraq. ƒMyra Richardson visited Mrs. Marie Gleaton. ƒFaye Bufford went to the Church of the Lord Jesus with Tracy and Kalilah (LeLe) Graves, Marlena Perkins and Robert Hammond. It was the 45th anniversary of the church. ƒMrs. Pete Strother attended Sandra Pope's 50th birthday party Saturday night. Mrs. Strother went to church Sunday with Teresa Burdette and went home with Lewis and Inez Hall for lunch and visited Sandra and Mill. ƒNanci Faulk and Ben Norman visited Miss Carrie Norman. ƒArnold Wheelbarger and Robin and Alan Johnson visited Harper's.
